Hello, NICAR 2016! We’re Knight Lab, and we’d love to meet you. Find us in person or online throughout the weekend, or at the Hacks/Hackers Colorado Meetup we're sponsoring on Thursday night.
Two exciting things:
- We’re hiring!
- We’ll soon have a presence in San Francisco! (Though we’re not hiring there.)
Can't wait to meet you all! Here's who we are and where we'll be:
Faculty and staff
- Emily Withrow — Faculty
- Joe Germuska — Director and Chief Nerd
Joe’s speaking at a session on mining census data and teaching a hands-on session on Python data analysis. He’d also like to talk to anyone interested in one of the jobs linked to above. - Ryan Graff — Editorial and Outreach
Ryan will be at the Hacks Hackers Colorado Meetup (7 pm, Thursday, Falling Rock Taphouse). He’d like to learn more about the work you’re doing and would love to talk about data analysis, natural language processing, and content customization. - Scott Bradley — Developer
Scott is helping out with the PyCar workshop. He’s interested in talking sensors, hardware, and 3d printing. - Zach Wise — Faculty
